Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped apples (peeled and diced)
  • Olive oil spray
  • For the glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until smooth. Fold in chopped apples.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease the basket with olive oil spray.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the basket, leaving space between each fritter. Lightly spray the tops with oil.
  5. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flip, then cook another 4–5 minutes until golden and crisp.
  6. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze. Drizzle over warm fritters or dip them in.
